Story

Same name, same citrus. Nothing else carries over.

Mango first shipped in 2012, written in Objective-C and OpenGL for a very different Mac. It remained on the App Store for fourteen years while the platform changed around it.

Mango 3 started again from first principles. A new Swift and SwiftUI app, a reusable IRC engine, and modern IRCv3 support. The legacy code stayed behind; the name, the colour, and the affection for IRC did not.
